STUDIO OWNER + INSTRUCTOR

Music has been a lifelong passion of mine — one that has shaped my career, my creativity, and my heart for teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education from Murray State University, and I’ve had the joy of teaching music in many settings over the years.

I began playing piano in 8th grade, but my love for music started long before that. Since then, I’ve taught middle school general music, choir, and theatre, directed children’s choirs, served many years leading worship ministry, and performed in world-class low brass ensembles and jazz orchestras. My primary instruments are piano, voice, and euphonium, though I enjoy exploring and teaching many others.

In addition to my teaching career, I’ve also built a thriving business as a freelancer and marketing professional — skills that have shaped how I run my studio with creativity, organization, and care. Years ago, I founded a successful music studio called Studio S, and I’m thrilled to be bringing it back to life to serve a new generation of young musicians.

At Studio S, my goal is to help each student develop not just musical skill, but confidence, expression, and joy. Whether through piano, voice, or collaborative classes, I love creating an environment where students can learn, grow, and truly love making music.

VOICE INSTRUCTOR

I’m Charlie Favreau III, and I’ve been passionate about singing for as long as I can remember! My earliest memories are of me, just a little kid around 6 or 7, singing alongside my mom in the church choir. From those joyful days in the church choir to high school show choir and even competing in thrilling barbershop quartets and choruses, singing has been a massive part of my journey—it’s truly my heartbeat!

Fast forward to my college era, I attended Pensacola Christian College and proudly earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Ministry, with a special focus on the incredible human voice. I couldn’t be more excited about where this passion has taken me, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

Since I graduated from college in 2009, I’ve had many wonderful opportunities to share my passion for singing and to help individuals and groups enhance their natural singing abilities. By day, I work as the sales manager at a local community bank. Whenever I can, I enjoy volunteering as a worship leader at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, IN. Over the past couple of years, I’ve also partnered with Compassus Hospice Group as a volunteer music therapist. Additionally, I volunteer as the worship leader for the chapel services at the Evansville Rescue Mission.

I feel truly honored to be part of Studio S, and I hope to help you discover more about your God-given instrument and improve your singing! To wrap up, I Corinthians 10:31 encourages us, “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
